The dark colossal paw brewing with flames came down on Kailen. The temperature rose to higher heights. It was as if everything that was happening was in slow motion.
Kailen tried to use the principle of space to meld with the void and disappear, but it was not working. The flames in the palm coming down on Kailen had spread across the surrounding vicinity and even around him, overpowering his spatial principle.

Suddenly, a colossal humanoid figure hollered through the air, bathed in flames. The creature was a ginormous hobgoblin.
The ginormous hobgoblin struck its descending hand towards the large panda looking creature. Balls of flames swept over the hobgoblin’s hand. The flames smashed into the flame covered paw of the panda, which was previously a few moments away from landing on Kailen.
The two attacks caused shockwaves and a ring of fiery shockwaves and tides to spread across the place.
Kailen’s eyes flashed with a glint. It seemed these two creatures had a feud with each other. He melded with the void and disappeared from the place, leaving the two creatures to their devices.

Kailen reappeared somewhere across the volcanic region. He heard the occasional shockwaves of the clash between the two creatures far away from his current location. He scanned his current location with vigilance.
Only when he realized this place was only teeming with rank 2 and rank 1 novice stage chaotic beasts did he feel a bit safe.
"I could have really died." Kailen didn’t like to admit it. But there was no denying what almost happened. "I need to be really careful in this place."
Death was something he could not afford, not with what he was in the chaotic region of the universe for. He had to be more careful here as he focused on increasing his strength.
Suddenly, Kailen’s eyes widened.
"Spatial ripples."
Kailen felt spatial ripples somewhere in the vicinity. An entity with the principle of space was nearby. However, he could not use the principle of space to inspect the location of the entity, be it a chaotic beast or a transcendant. Else, as a spatial principle user, they would also discover spatial fluctuations from his direction. After almost losing his life, he had to be more careful in this place.
He moved covertly to the place where the spatial ripples were coming from. There was a cliff facing him. Volcanic waters brewed beneath the cliff and rose occasionally. Kailen covertly hid near the cliff and looked in the direction beyond the cliff.
There, he saw a space principle transcendent battling with a rank 3 novice stage chaotic beast. The two were exchanging spatial principle attacks.
The chaotic beast melded with the void and reappeared before the transcendent. Then, it slashed towards the direction of the transcendent, causing several spatial tears to appear, cleaving towards the Transcendent.
The transcendent waved her hand. The void twisted and bent as several spatial arrows shot towards the creature’s attack. The two spatial attacks collided, morphing and warping across each other before the attack of the transcendent was completely overcome and consumed by the spatial slashes.
The transcendent’s eyes glinted as she stared at a particular direction.
Kailen sighed. It seemed this person was very extraordinary. She discovered him.
"Friend, can you come and help me out? We can cooperate after we deal with the creature and kill several space principle creatures in the vicinity."
Kailen didn’t say anything. Neither did he reveal himself even though she had discovered him. He used Emotional resonance to glean her thoughts from her facial expressions.
She naturally wanted to use him to kill the creature. After that, she would launch a sneak attack, kill him and make use of the principle fragment the creature would leave behind.
The lady figured out the person hiding in the direction she was staring at was not easy to fool after not getting any reaction from him. Since that was the case, she decided to use a different alternative.
She shot towards Kailen’s direction.
"Since he’s not willing to go along with my wishes, might as well use him to misdirect the creature and launch a sneak to kill it."
The creature followed her as she headed towards the cliff. The creature launched several spatial slashes towards her, however she narrowly evaded the attacks by a hair’s breadth. It was obvious she was barely managing to hold on. But she was very determined.
Kailen figured out what was happening. This woman was very sly. A glint of coldness flashed through his eyes as he melded with the void and disappeared.
By the time she got to where the cliff was, she saw that no one was there. The person had managed to escape. He had anticipated her move and bolted off?
However, a lethal threat encumbered her a moment later. In her moment of slight laxity, a spatial slash from the creature cleaved through her, causing her figure to bend and twist, then eventually disappear.
The creature screamed weakly and fell on the volcanic waters, floating on it. It was obvious that it had been wounded in the fight between it and the transcendent.
Kailen floated several distances, watching what had just transpired.
"It seems this is the perfect time to strike."
The void rippled, bended and twisted. Three large ethereal spatial arrows appeared in front of Kailen. The spatial arrows flickered out of existence and disappeared.
The creature yawned weakly. Suddenly, a glint of fear flashed through its eyes. A spatial barrier formed over its figure.
The spatial arrows appeared a moment later in front of the creature. They cleaved towards several parts of its body at the same time.
For a moment, the spatial barrier around its body seemed to hold. It would twist and bend, then repel the spatial arrows. However, the spatial barrier did not hold for long. The spatial arrows cleaved through it, causing it to twist and disappear out of existence.
The spatial arrows cleaved through the head of the creature. The creature roared weakly, its eyes turning lifeless, as its head twisted, spatial ripples appearing across the head. The head gushed open, blood spilling across the volcanic stream.
It was dead.
