Chapter 306 Hermione's Night Raid

Chapter 306 Hermione's Night Raid (Part 1)

Night had fallen, and the starlight outside the window was faint and sparse, with the dark sky shrouding Hogwarts Castle.

The entire school was quiet, with only the occasional deep hooting of an owl and the gentle lapping of water against the shore of the lake in the distance.

The corridor was completely silent, with the dim candlelight flickering at the end, seemingly about to go out at any moment.

The faucet in the bathroom made a soft sound of running water, and the steam blurred the mirror.

Sean slowly wiped the moisture off the mirror, revealing a slightly tired face.

After a full day of classes and tedious tasks, his head was throbbing.

He shook his head, closed the toothpaste cap, quickly rinsed his mouth, then dried his face with a towel, feeling a cool and comfortable sensation.

He straightened the collar of his bathrobe, preparing to turn off the light and go to bed.

Just as he reached out to turn off the bedside lamp, a soft but urgent knock on the door broke the silence of the room.

Sean was taken aback, his brows furrowing slightly.

He glanced at the clock—it was past midnight.

Who would come at this time?

He frowned, walked to the door, reached out and grasped the cold doorknob, and gently turned it. The door creaked open slowly.

The person standing outside the door surprised him somewhat—Hermione Granger, or in other words, Miss Granger who was completely different from usual.

She no longer wore that heavy academic robe, but instead a close-fitting silk gown. The smooth fabric swayed gently with her movements, outlining her slender waist and elegant curves. The gown was slightly open, revealing a glimpse of skin that looked particularly alluring in the dim candlelight.

"Hermione?" Sean raised an eyebrow, looking at her with a hint of doubt, then teased, "Are you out for a night stroll?"

Hermione smiled at this, then glanced back, as if to make sure no one was around, and said in a low voice, "Professor, I have something important to discuss with you."

A night breeze crept in through the open doorway, bringing a touch of coolness that instantly made Sean realize the unusual atmosphere.

He took a deep breath, hesitated slightly, and stepped aside to let Hermione in.

After Sean opened the door, Hermione slowly walked into the room. The night breeze rushed in, gently lifting her robes and bringing a chill.

Sean closed the door, his gaze following her retreating figure, a growing unease creeping into his heart.

For some reason, he felt that Hermione gave him a very strange feeling today.

As for what was strange about it, he couldn't quite put his finger on it.

"So, Hermione, what's got you calling me so late?" Sean tried to keep his tone calm.

As he spoke, he walked to the table, trying to distract himself by casually tidying up the books in his hands, but he still couldn't help but look back at her—given Hermione's current attire, it was really hard not to do so.

Hermione stood in the center of the room, silent for a moment, as if preparing how to speak.

Sean couldn't help but press further, "Do you have some leads on Hagrid's matter? Or... are you having too many classes lately, or are you having other worries?"

Hearing Sean's words, Hermione looked up, seemingly confused.

However, she quickly dispelled this emotion, which turned into sadness.

She lowered her eyes and gently bit her lower lip, as if suppressing some emotion within her. Then, she raised her head again, her voice much lower than usual, "Professor... I'd like you to give me a massage."

Sean was stunned; Hermione's request caught him off guard.

A massage...at this time...and this outfit?

Looking at Hermione standing in the center of the room in a silk robe, Sean thought for a moment that this was just his imagination.

He paused, then asked tentatively, "You mean...a massage?"

“Yes, Professor,” Hermione nodded slightly, took a few steps closer to him, and spoke sincerely and frankly, “I’ve been under a lot of stress lately, and I’ve heard that massage can effectively relieve tension, so—I would like to ask you for your help.” Her voice sounded calm, as if it were the most natural thing in the world to ask for her help.

"Massage," Sean repeated softly, trying to confirm Hermione's intention.

Perhaps I'm just overthinking it.

Hermione may genuinely be under too much pressure from her studies and other matters, which is why she sought his help at this particular time.

As for why she chose the evening, perhaps it's simply because she has classes during the day and is too busy to find the time.

The silk robe she wore was probably because she was preparing to rest and decided to come see him on a whim, so she didn't change out of her nightgown.

Sean mentally tried to explain all the illogical details, even though these reasons were so flimsy that he himself didn't quite believe them, but they at least made the situation seem somewhat reasonable.

Only these plausible reasons could convince him to accept Hermione's request for a massage.

Seeing Sean hesitate, Hermione took a step forward and moved closer.

Her gaze was focused, sincere, and direct. "Professor, I understand if this is inconvenient for you, but really, I've been under a lot of pressure lately. The coursework and Hagrid's situation are suffocating me. I think you might be able to help me."

"Okay," Sean nodded, trying to keep his tone professional, "If you really need to relax, I can give you a massage."

Hermione's eyes lit up with joy when she heard Sean's agreement.

Without any hesitation, she took off her silk robe, revealing a flawless body.

Sean stared in disbelief at the sight before him, his eyes wide with disbelief.

He originally thought Hermione just wanted him to massage her shoulders and neck, but to his surprise, Hermione took off her outer clothes!

Hermione felt a little embarrassed by Sean's reaction. She quickly grabbed her robe and covered herself again, a faint blush rising on her face.

"I'm sorry, Professor, I was too hasty. I thought the trust between us was enough for me to do this, I'm sorry..." Hermione said quickly, apologizing like a child who had done something wrong.

It took Sean a while to come to his senses.

He shook his head, feigning nonchalance with a laugh, "It's alright, Hermione, I overreacted. I just didn't react immediately. Since you say you need to relax, let's get started."

He gestured for Hermione to lie down on the bed, then took a clean coin from the closet and spread it on the bed.

Hermione lay down somewhat embarrassed, while Sean knelt beside her.

He placed his hands on Hermione's shoulders, his movements slow and cautious.

Sean sincerely hoped this was just a normal, teacher-student interaction, but reality often differs significantly from his expectations.

Hermione didn't react much at first, seemingly just enjoying the feeling of relaxation.

However, as he moved his fingers, Hermione suddenly let out a barely audible moan.

The soft sound seemed to instantly make the air in the room heavy, and Sean's movements stiffened for a moment, his heart beating faster.

A sense of unease flashed through his mind, and he unconsciously loosened the pressure on his hands.

"Is it too heavy?" he asked quickly, trying to ease the awkward atmosphere.

"No—it's perfect, very comfortable." Hermione's voice was soft, yet carried a hint of indescribable emotion.

Sean took a deep breath and continued massaging, but every time his fingers touched her skin, he could feel a subtle change.

Hermione's body gradually relaxed, but the occasional soft sounds she made only confused and unsettled him more.

He began to wonder if he was being overly sensitive, or if he had misunderstood her intentions.

Perhaps she has figured it out?
