Chapter 30 The Face in the Mirror
Chapter 30 The Face in the Mirror
Sean chose to take Tonks back by plane.
After purchasing expensive first-class tickets to the UK that day, the two boarded the plane.
This was Tonks' first time on an airplane. She gazed at the swirling clouds outside the window, her eyes filled with curiosity and nervousness.
She was nervous because she didn't know if she and her senior, Phillips, could escape successfully if the plane exploded in mid-air.
Having grown up in the Muggle world, she knew the power of this enormous "iron bird".
Moreover, flying on a broomstick and flying in an airplane are two completely different experiences.
The roar of the plane echoed in Tonks' ears, along with the pressure on her ears from the increasing altitude, making her feel somewhat uncomfortable.
However, if you're following Senior Phillips... these things don't seem like a big deal.
Thinking of this, Tonks couldn't help but turn to look at Sean sitting to the side.
Sean happened to be looking at her at that moment, and asked with a smile, "How are you feeling?"
"It feels amazing!"
The plane pierced through the clouds, and Tonks pressed himself against the window, trying to capture every stunning moment.
She saw an endless sea of clouds, like a cotton candy ocean, and at the end of the sea of clouds were rays of golden sunlight, like... Merlin's beard?
As the plane landed in London, the two officially parted ways.
Sean also went back to his home at 19 Privet Road, Surrey, to pick up some things.
For some reason, he felt that Tonks was acting strangely from this morning until now, but he didn't know what was wrong.
Could it be...?
Sean seemed to suddenly remember something and opened the cheat device's panel.
The second item is the [Character Panel].
Then I clicked on Tonks's profile picture.
As expected, the values above have changed:
[Character: Nymphadora Tonks]
Age: 18
【Mood: 15】(Maximum value is 24)
【Favourability: 5】
[Reputation: 0]
[xx value: 1]
He... didn't seem to have done anything, did he?
Sean thought to himself, somewhat uncertainly.
How come Tonks's favorability rating suddenly increased to 5 points overnight?
Five points of affinity in the game can get you a lot of things... for example...
Does that mean that if he asks Tonks to do something in real life, she is unlikely to refuse?
However... this experiment will have to wait until the next time he meets Tonks.
While Sean was pondering this, he had already returned to Hogwarts.

In a secret room, ancient magic books were scattered in a corner, their yellowed pages exuding an eerie atmosphere.
The walls were covered with strange totems and dried herbs, each one looking eerie and ominous.
A man wearing a purple turban knelt before an antique mirror, muttering to himself in a low, trembling voice: "Master... I will... find the Philosopher's Stone for you."
As soon as he finished speaking, the already chilly atmosphere around them became even colder.
"Just a little bit more..."
"Just a little bit more..."
The hoarse voice rang out again.
Strangely, the voice did not come from the man himself, but seemed to emanate from some unknown part of his body, carrying an indescribable eeriness and terror.
This strange feeling made the man tremble involuntarily, and he lowered his head even further, as if trying to escape this invisible pressure.
If he had gone half a day earlier...
The man was filled with regret and self-blame. If he had gone half a day earlier, perhaps the outcome would have been different.
But now, it's all too late.
"Where exactly did Dumbledore hide that thing?" the hoarse voice pressed again, its tone revealing urgency and anxiety.
The man remained silent for a moment, seemingly lost in thought.
Then, he slowly began to speak: "I've been to every part of Hogwarts... except for that Chamber of Secrets on the fourth floor."
As he said this, a hint of fear flashed in the man's eyes. Clearly, the secret room was a mysterious and dangerous place for him.
The hoarse voice perked up with excitement upon hearing the man's reply: "The secret room on the fourth floor? That's exactly where we're looking for! Dumbledore must have hidden the Philosopher's Stone there!"
The man nodded, but a look of hesitation and worry crossed his face: "I've already... been to that secret room... there's a three-headed dog there..."
"Can't even handle a Cerberus? Useless! Useless!" The hoarse voice roared, filled with disappointment and anger. "If I hadn't expended so much energy helping you break into Gringotts the other day, I wouldn't be stuck in your body in a deep sleep all day."
"Now I'm getting weaker and weaker, and you can't even handle a dog."
The man lowered his head, his face filled with shame and helplessness.
"Please...please give me another chance," the man pleaded. "I will find a way to deal with Cerberus, and this time I will succeed."
The hoarse voice calmed down, as if weighing the pros and cons: "Fine, I'll give you one more chance. But remember, this is your last chance. If you fail again, you'll bear the consequences!"
The man took off the purple scarf from his head and slowly turned his back to the mirror.
In the antique mirror, a face was visible on the back of the man's head.
A face as white as chalk, with two long, thin nostrils like snakes, a terrifying and ferocious expression.
