Chapter 296 Tonks' Pre-Class Tutoring
Hogwarts was enveloped in tranquility at night, with even the torches in the corridors casting a faint glow.
Tonks walked lightly on the stone pavement, his pace much slower than usual.
She glanced down at her watch; it was almost ten o'clock. She kept reminding herself that this was just a normal date between couples, nothing special.
But a certain feeling in his heart made Tonks' cheeks slightly warm, and with each step he took, the throbbing in his heart became clearer.
She recalled the previous times she had been in Sean's office, some details being endlessly magnified. When she reached the door of Sean's office, Tonks took a deep breath and gently knocked.
"Come in," Sean's deep voice came from inside the door.
Tonks pushed open the door and found the office lights were soft and dim. Sean was sitting behind the desk, looking at her tenderly.
He remained as composed as ever, as if everything was under his control.
"Junior, you've come at the perfect time." He smiled and gestured for her to sit down, his tone calm and relaxed, as if it were just a casual conversation between the two of them.
Tonks tried to appear natural, sitting opposite him, her fingers unconsciously rubbing together on her knees. They were the only two in the office, so quiet they could hear each other breathing.
"So," she asked, forcing a relaxed tone with a hint of teasing, "what's the matter that you called me here so mysteriously today, senior?"
Sean chuckled, picked up a few documents from the table, and handed them to her. "Actually, they're some arrangements for the 'Wizard Duels' course. I thought we could discuss it together and see how we can make the course more interesting."
Tonks breathed a sigh of relief, feeling a little more at ease; it turned out to be just a work discussion. She took the documents, looked down attentively, and began discussing the course content with Sean. At first, everything seemed perfectly normal; the two exchanged opinions in a harmonious and relaxed atmosphere.
But as time went on, Tonks gradually felt an invisible atmosphere spreading between the two of them.
Sean's voice remained as steady as ever, but his aggressive gaze seemed to inadvertently collide with hers every time she looked up.
That brief eye contact made Tonks' heart race, and her face flushed.
"What do you think of this part?" Sean suddenly moved closer and handed her a document, instantly shortening the distance between them.
Tonks was stunned for a moment, and his mind suddenly went blank.
She took the document, and her fingers accidentally brushed against Sean's hand. In that instant, it felt as if an electric current had run through her body.
She looked up abruptly, only to meet Sean's eyes.
The atmosphere subtly shifted at that moment.
Tonks' breathing suddenly became rapid, and the normally normal topic of discussion seemed to have taken on a slightly ambiguous tone.
Sean maintained a calm expression, but the deeper meaning in his eyes became increasingly apparent.
He moved closer and closer until Tonks could almost feel the temperature of his breath.
"Junior sister..." he said softly, his voice carrying a hint of barely perceptible expectation.
Tonks' face was completely red. She dared not look at Sean anymore, her gaze unconsciously shifting to the documents, while various erotic images kept flashing through her mind.
Despite her best efforts to remain calm, the escalating atmosphere made it impossible for her to concentrate on the documents in her hands.
"I—I think these arrangements are quite good." She stammered, her voice revealing nervousness.
"Are you sure?" Sean's voice chuckled softly as he slowly moved closer, leaning slightly towards her, his expression softening.
His hand rested casually on the table, moving closer as if testing the waters, or perhaps waiting for something.
Tonks' heart was pounding wildly. She tried to calm her inner turmoil, but she couldn't ignore the ambiguous atmosphere between them.
The scene of them getting closer kept flashing through her mind—those bright eyes, those warm hands, as if everything was developing in some unexpected direction.
She knew she could no longer suppress her inner impulses.
Rather than passively surrendering, it's better to take the initiative.
Finally, Tonks took a deep breath, his hands trembling slightly, but he still boldly reached out and gently grabbed Sean's sleeve.
Her movements were sudden and resolute, as if the courage she had been holding back for a long time had finally burst forth in that instant.
A hint of surprise flashed in Sean's eyes, but he did not back down. Instead, he looked at her gently, waiting for her next move.
Tonks bit her lip, her heart pounding with nervousness, but a surge of emotion propelled her forward. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes filled with shyness and determination.
She leaned forward slightly, her body trembling with nervousness, but she still mustered her courage and gently kissed Sean's lips.
For a moment, time seemed to stand still.
Tonks' kiss was gentle and clumsy, with obvious shyness and unease, but also full of genuine emotion.
She could feel Sean's warm and soft lips, and the tension in her heart instantly turned into a warm current that spread throughout her body.
She closed her eyes, enjoying the sudden intimacy.
Sean paused for a moment, but then relaxed.
His hand gently encircled her waist, responding to her kiss with slow and tender movements. He didn't rush to deepen the kiss, but instead made Tonks feel a sense of comfort and security.
Tonks gradually relaxed in Sean's arms, and her tension slowly dissipated.
Her heart was still pounding, but this time it wasn't from panic, but because her inner desires had finally been answered.
Her hand slid from Sean's sleeve to his shoulder, and they moved closer, the kiss becoming more natural.
The office remained quiet, save for the soft breathing of the two individuals and their intimate touch.
The kiss progressed from tension to relaxation, gradually becoming more affectionate, and the ambiguous atmosphere between the two intensified with it.
When they finally parted, Tonks' face was still flushed, her eyes filled with shyness, but even more so with satisfaction and relief.
She exhaled softly, looked down at her slightly trembling hands, and couldn't help but smile.
"I—I'm sorry," she said weakly, a hint of panic and self-deprecation in her voice, but mostly a sweet joy in her heart, "I just—I couldn't help myself."
The last time the two of them kissed was... a long time ago.
While working at the Ministry of Magic, Tonks was so engrossed in his dream job as an Auror that he had no time or energy to indulge in these romantic relationships.
Although Sean occasionally made unwanted advances toward Tonks in his office at the Ministry of Magic, he never went beyond that.
Besides, he was extremely busy at that time and didn't have time to be affectionate with Tonks.
Hearing Tonks' gentle, delicate voice, as soft and sweet as glutinous rice, Sean couldn't help but smile.
Then, he gently traced his fingertips across her cheek and said in an unusually gentle tone, "Don't apologize."
Junior. But—"
At this point, Sean deliberately drew out his words, abruptly changing the subject.
"However, tomorrow is your first time attending class alone. Do you need me to help you prepare for the class beforehand?"
